As your memory making escape begins, scan down for a view of Pooley Bridge, which takes its name from the 16th century crossing that spans the River Eamont on the northern tip of Ullswater, not too far from your ballooning launch site. In its heyday, Pooley Bridge was an important fish trading area. Be sure to bring your camera as there will be photo opportunities in every direction for the duration of the flight – some below you as you cruise over Ullswater, a magnificent body of water popular with boats and tourists taking a steamer tour of the lake.
After nearly an hour ballooning, your pilot will have decided where is the best place to land. Your support crew will collect you and return you back to the Dalemain Estate.
